Process of making the glass sculptures: Some designs are carefully planned, while others evolve as new choices emerge once the kiln door opens. Each piece begins with hand-cut and assembled glass, placed in the kiln for a 24–36 hour firing. Afterward, I might screen print images from my photographs or layer powdered glass for color and depth, often requiring multiple firings at up to 800°C. Once the design is resolved, cold working with diamond tools refines the edges, followed by a final kiln polish. Every unique piece undergoes 3–4 firings, reaching a thickness of up to 12mm.
