kirsten perry

Kirsten Perry is a Melbourne-based ceramic artist specializing in slip-cast mid-fired vessels. Her biomorphic creations, carved from disposable materials like foam and cardboard, are transformed into ceramics, gaining unique textures and imperfections in the process. Kirsten holds degrees in Fine Art and Industrial Design from RMIT University and has exhibited internationally. She has won the 2021 Klytie Pate Ceramic Award and the 2021 Stanthorpe 3D Cast Art Prize. Her work is in the Gold Coast City Gallery collection and she has completed ceramic residencies in Germany, Peru, China, Italy, and an Indigenous Art Centre in Victoria.
