Refund policy
We get it, it can be hard to picture how things will look in your space! At the Art Sanctuary Gallery we want to make your shopping experience as easy as possible. That’s why we offer full refunds within 14 days of your purchase, and exchanges within 21 days of your purchase.
Unfortunately, non-stocked or custom ordered pieces cannot be refunded once they have been ordered with our supplier. This includes furniture, mirrors, framed artwork, lighting, rugs and custom-made cushions.
Items purchased during our sale period cannot be returned or exchanged. Sale items are clearly marked on the product page and/or at the checkout.
Incorrect or Damaged Item Policy
In the unfortunate event that you receive a damaged item or an item that was not ordered, please notify us immediately. Take a photograph of the item and email us at contact@artsanctuarygallery.com upon receipt of your order. We will review your claim and respond promptly to resolve the issue.
Return Policy for Original Art
There are no returns or refunds on original artworks. If damage occurs in transit, please email sherren@artsanctuarygallery.com
If your purchase has been damaged in transit, please photograph the packaging before opening it, as well as photographing the damaged art inside and email photographs to sherren@artsanctuarygallery.com
For any Original Paintings damaged in transit I will replace with a commission.
I do not accept any original art paintings based on the artwork ageing. As paintings naturally age they can lose some flexibility and become slightly brittle over time. There are other factors such as expansion and contraction of the canvas support, absorption and release of moisture from the air can all lead to some cracking formation over time.
Return policy for Limited Edition Prints
Your unframed Paper Print is delicate. It is carefully and professionally packaged and sealed in a protective industrial tube for safe shipping. Once received, the print tube should only be opened by your chosen professional framer for immediate framing. If not opened by a professional framer, Sherren Comensoli will not be responsible for any damage to the print, and no refund or exchange will be possible.
Artist Prints are custom ordered, therefore once you have placed and confirmed your order they are non-refundable due to change of mind.

Layby Policy for Original Art - Layby available on Original Art only.
- Eligibility: Layby is available exclusively for Original Art only.
- Deposit: A 35% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the layby sale.
- Layby Term: The layby term is strictly 4 weeks.
- Final Sale: Once a layby deposit is made, the sale is final. No refunds or exchanges will be granted for change of mind or other circumstances. This is because the artist receives their commission as soon as the deposit is paid.
Art Sanctuary Gallery requires the customer to sign a layby agreement.
Change of Mind Policy
To initiate a return or exchange, please email us at contact@artsanctuarygallery.com. The item(s) must be returned to us in their original, unopened, and unused condition with all packaging intact. Customers are responsible for prepaying the return postage.
We recommend using Registered Post to mitigate the risk of loss, theft, or damage during transit. Art Sanctuary Gallery cannot be held liable for parcels that are lost or damaged in transit if you opt not to insure the shipment.
Interior Styling Services Policy
When utilizing our interior styling services, please be aware that certain items are specially ordered on your behalf. These custom or non-stocked items are non-refundable once the order has been placed with our supplier. This policy applies to furniture, mirrors, framed artwork, rugs, and any other custom-made products, including cushions.
