About the Artist:

Sharon Rynehart is an Australian palette knife artist based in Canberra, whose practice is defined by expressive mark-making and an intuitive use of colour. Working from her home studio, she paints daily, drawing inspiration from the rhythm of family life and the landscapes that surround her.
With a background in interior design and colour consultancy, Rynehart transitioned to painting full-time in 2018 following a period of ill health. What began as a therapeutic exercise soon evolved into a passionate and enduring artistic pursuit. Her works reflect both resilience and sensitivity, capturing emotional depth through layers of texture and light.
