"Coastline Under Cloud" is inspired by the spectacular scenery of the back beach at Rye, on the Mornington Peninsula. This rugged, wild coastline is one of my favourite places to visit for inspiration. It is just a 25-minute drive from my home, yet it always feels like another world. With dramatic cliffs, winding hiking trails, and breath-taking views, it offers endless variation. I love watching clouds gather and roll in, casting shifting shadows across the sea and revealing pockets of rain in the distance. It is a place of quiet power and raw beauty, where the elements meet and the mood of the land is never the same twice.
