Artists Statement: This painting explores the meeting point between landscape and emotion. Rather than depicting a specific place, it captures the feeling of moving through a landscape, layers of colour flowing like memory, weather, and time. The sweeping marks and shifting hues reflect constant change, with darker forms anchoring the horizon while vibrant colours ripple across the foreground. Each layer was built intuitively, allowing the painting to evolve organically. The work speaks to movement, rhythm, and connection to place. It is also a celebration of colour.
