Pearses Beach is one of Catherine DeBoise's favourite places to walk and draw inspiration from. Located along the windswept and rugged back beaches of Blairgowrie on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula, the coastal tracks offer sweeping ocean views and are carpeted with a beautiful array of native vegetation, including tussock grasses and cushion bush. Painted in acrylic, this work captures the raw beauty of the landscape through a richer palette of deep ocean blues, silvery greens and earthy tones, reflecting the wild and untamed character of this iconic coastline.
